glassCanopy: Website Redesign

Project: Website & Branding Redesign

Role: Art Director & Lead Designer

Team: glassCanopy

glassCanopy is a marketing agency in San Francisco focusing on lead generation for niche brands. Their phrase "We Market Hard-to-Describe products to Hard-to-Find Audiences," was inspiration for the origami themed site.

The Concept

The art direction was based off a personal existing art project, The Box Project. gC’s clients often sell products that are intangible, or “Hard-to-describe” such as IT services. The origami boxes are a whimsical representation of intangible objects - a playful way of saying we can market your “hard-to-describe” products.

I worked closely with our developer to ensure the site looked good from a responsive stand point, and re-created assets to fit the responsive template at smaller sizes.

The Process

I had so much fun with this project! I constructed all the origami “boxes” and arranged and photographed each scene to compliment the new content for every page of the website. The whimsical nature of the boxes inspired icon design, a new energetic color palette, and other visual assets.
